Fernando Hart is a Brazilian filmmaker based in Auckland, New Zealand. He holds a BA in Film and TV, as well as a diploma in stage acting — a combination that gives him a strong understanding of both performance and visual storytelling.

He began his career in Brazil, working across film, television, and theatre as both a producer and performer. Since relocating to New Zealand in 2013, Fernando has established himself as an award-winning cinematographer and a sought-after commercials director. His directing work spans short films, music videos, documentaries, and branded content.

Alongside his commercial work, he continues to write and develop original projects for film and television. His creative focus is rooted in character-driven stories that explore how we see ourselves and relate to others — always with a keen eye on the complexities of human behaviour.
