Female strength is a strong force

A few photos from the series How to bring out your sensuality, in which the clear line between masculinity and femininity is blurred.

A collection inspired by the works of Piet Mondrian, a Dutch sculptor at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. Only 3 basic colors were used in the collection. The entire collection is apparently based on simple forms, but after a deeper analysis, you can find an introduction to abstract art.

Artist Biography

My name is Joanna Kreja. I'm 32 years old. So far I have created 7 mini collections in various styles. The photos show one of the "The Geometric stijil" collections

Joanna Kreja Design – the designer who created this brand, has a rather unusual approach to fashion. The vision of her brand is to create non-commercial fashion that will in some way be universal and timeless regardless of the passage of time.

The designer loves to play with fashion in an unconventional way, juxtaposing various materials and textures, creating new forms, shapes and patterns. So far, she has created several different collections, often using materials from the so-called second hand to give new life.

He does not follow fast fashion, he always tries to emphasize the importance of being aware of the negative effects of creating something for the masses, while exploiting the natural environment. It puts special emphasis on handicrafts, such as embroidery, hand embroidering, painting on various types of fabrics. Most of her things are single, labor-intensive, hand made copies. The designer herself adheres to the principle „it is better to have 1 unique item of great quality and wear it
for 10/20 years than 100 items in 1 year of poor quality”.

Looking for new inspiration, it often refers to the retro, art deco, glamor, noir or old Hollywood style.
The brand is dedicated to women who feel their femininity, sensuality, and above all to those women who have the coura-
ge to express themselves, their emotions through the magic of colors, bold cuts or rich decorations.

One of the last successes of the designer was winning the first place at the Fashion Designer Awards in London in May 2019.
