Director Statement

It's unsettling to feel another human beings gaze on you, but when you look, there's nothing there. This is our relationship with social media. We feel everyone watching, but when we look at our phones, it's just a hunk of aluminum with a black plastic accent. Every day we use our phones knowing all the potential dangers it can bring. What if someone or something became the physical representation of how social media traps us? What if we could actually feel its presence with us? Would we still reach for our phones? Or will we finally pull away from our brightly colored screens? In this short, we explore these ideas. Not only how we "feed" the beasts of social media, but more importantly, how the beasts "feed" on us.
