Father to Son is about how someone's hidden life experiences can affect the generations that follow. A family secret resurfaces, bringing back unresolved conflicts and hidden dangers.
The film was inspired by real-life events that occurred at the location of filming, and based on historic accounts of the Soviet occupation of Hungary during World War II.
