Ian Kearney (Sp.Wolf) has been drawing since he was 18, but writing since age 7. Animation has been the medium of choice to express his ideas since 2015. Ian has won best animation 4 years in a row, at the Cypress College Film Festival.
This short film deals with running away from home, but is told primarily from the other side of the table. Parents don't understand there kids and there new lingo or technology. Kids don't care about there parents old ways or the advice they try to give them. Nobody truly knows how both parties feel except for them selves.
We have all been there as a kid including myself. Wanting to leave home for petty reasons. It was only until I asked myself "how would I feel if my child left me?" that I truly realize how they felt. I'm thankful everyday that they still say "I love you" even after all the block head things I did to them as a child.
