Matthew Eli Judd is a filmmaker bouncing between Atlanta, Georgia and New Orleans, Louisiana and is a co-founder of Ghostwright Media. Matthew has primarily been an actor, having received his MFA in Acting from the University of Southern Mississippi and his Bachelors in Theatre & Performance Studies from Kennesaw State University.
While film previously had not been his focus, over the last few years, life has wound him towards shifting his focus. Between finding creative/business partners and forming Ghostwright Media, Matthew has gravitated towards more comprehensively telling stories--both in front and behind the camera.
I have always hated the phrase "it is what it is." I believe that, while it may help to survive in a crisis, it lulls us into the trap of wasting our hardships. Our challenges are the salvage we craft our greatest successes upon. We have the ability to make "it" what we want it to be: Motivation, cautionary tale, perspective, identity, badge of honor, or any other transmutation we can draw from the challenges we face.
Abigail has dealt with these challenges, indeed, but chooses to see them as terrible things happening to her. What she must learn is that these trials and tribulations are the same that heroes must endure to become the legends they're meant to be. How do we reframe these difficult experiences to see the greatness, potential, and resilience we all possess inside?
I am immensely proud to share Fantasy Fading. This is a tale of recognizing how the Hero is often simply hiding behind a shift in perspective...and might be staring back at us in the mirror.
