Director Statement

The goal of Family Dinner Volume Two was to show the amazingly beautiful characteristics of the widely diverse guest artists who are featured in the live album. Mali, Stockholm, London, Canada, Brazil, NYC, L.A., and others make up the origins of some of the musicians who before this album, many had not met. Unique pairings of styles curated by the world-renowned musicianship of Michael League was something that needed to be documented and shared with both music enthusiasts and beyond. We wanted to be able to share this through the live music recordings, interviews, and candid acoustic performances behind the scenes.
