Director Statement

"I wanted 'False Indigo' to be a bit of a bait-and-switch. It's set up as a cabin-in-the-woods horror, but ultimately ends up exploring the malignancy within us and within a relationship. After doing a slightly complicated feature involving interweaving narratives in 2018, I was interested to strip things back and take a couple of great actors out into the country for a few days. The single-location, two-hander format allowed me to focus on their performances and explore the dynamic between the on-screen couple."
