Falling

Falling is a stop motion animation made by oil paintings on glass.My work began by listening to Delia Derbyshire's music pieces and Barry Bermange's poetry -inventions for radio, and in particular the "falling" piece in which patients portray their dreams to their psychologist. These texts, combined with my personal experiences and studies on the process of sleep and the feeling of gurgling, have led me to portray a world where everything is fluid with minor absurd episodes.
Sound is a synthesis of recordings created by shaking a bed as well as voices, piano and electronic elements.
