Juan Ignacio Ramos (Montevideo, 1992) is a filmmaker and producer, graduated from the Film School of Uruguay (ECU) and holds a degree in Communication Sciences from the Faculty of Information and Communication (FIC - UdelaR).
In 2019, he directed the documentary episode Obreros de la pelota for the series Ventanas, broadcast by TNU.
During his time at ECU, he worked on various fiction and non-fiction projects. Notable works during this period include producing the short films Roque, selected nationally by Faciuni Becas, and Retrato de un Ruido, which won Best National Short Film and the Audience Award at the 22nd International Film Schools Festival.
In 2022, he won first prize in the Screenplay Competition at the Detour Festival with Falco, a short film that premiered at the 2024 edition of the same festival.
