Justin Douglas and David Testo are LGBTQI activists. Justin hosts a YouTube series “Canada’s Social Change-Makers." He holds a degree in political science from the University of Victoria, as well as common & civil law degrees from McGill University. David is the former Captain of the Montreal Impact and the first professional soccer player in North America to publicly “come out.” He is the subject of a documentary “Standing on the Line,” a film that explores homophobia in sport. They are both actors, producers and activists.
This film raises awareness about the complex issues surrounding old growth forest protection, and Indigenous rights and reconciliation on southern Vancouver Island and throughout British Columbia, Canada.
