Fading Summer

A group of friends gather on the beach to say goodbye to summer and face the changes to come. Maria and Laia, best friends, must separate their paths for the next school year. Maria has taken acid. Waiting for the effect, they talk until an unexpected confession comes to light... the sun goes down and the shadows blur the reality. The summer is over.

Shot entirely in a single take, the short film explores in a naturalistic and uncontrived way the emotional complexity of a generation in the twilight of its innocence.
