He was born on the 4th of January, 1995, and currently holds the position of a senior student at Istanbul Gelisim University. In his professional endeavors, he has assumed the roles of a cinematographer and a producer in a short film entitled "PROCESS," marking his initial foray into the world of short filmmaking. Moreover, he has contributed as a producer and a lighting assistant in another short film named "PAST FUTURE NOW." Additionally, he has demonstrated his skills as a producer and a chief lighting supervisor in yet another short film titled "STENDHAL."
Finally, he has undertaken the ambitious task of directing and writing his own short film, "FACE TO FACE," which represents his maiden voyage into these creative roles.
Face to Face is based on making a simple story technically splendid. The biggest purpose of this story, which seems understandable at first, is to make the film layered with fiction and thus to destroy the concept of time in the viewer's perception. This method creates a different perception of time in the minds of the audience as well as in the film and ensures that there are no clear answers to the questions asked.
While Face to Face aspires to distill the quintessence of cinematic artistry structurally, it employs restrained dialogue, favoring visual narration instead, and crafts an ambiance steeped in the crime films of the bygone era, evoking the captivating essence of film-noir. At the epicenter of this opus stands Mr T, epitomizing the enigmatic figure alluded to by the title, whose motivations are an intricate puzzle to solve. What propels him into the labyrinthine intricacies of the narrative lies in his megalomaniacal nature, fueled by the influence he wields. For the sole adversary capable of withstanding his dominance is none other than himself. While delving into the shadowed recesses of the human psyche, Face to Face portrays the profound introspection encapsulated in the character study of Mr T through a melancholic lens, shrouded in somber hues.
