Faces of Evil
The video „Faces of Evil“ is my personal reaction to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The photographic images used in the video are collected in Internet archives and reveal Russian soldiers, who committed war crimes in Ukraine. In my video I put them behind bars.

Neringa Naujokaite (born in Kaunas, Lithuania) is a media artist and filmmaker. She graduated from the Vilnius Art Academy and Kunstakademie Dusseldorf, in 2003 she completed her postgraduate studies in audio-visual media at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne (KHM).
The artist lives and works in Düsseldorf.
In her projects Naujokaite deals with social themes, the interaction between the individuals and their environment, as well as sensitive society issues. Naujokaite's installations are multi-layered video and slide projections which involve sound and text, spatial objects. Often the projection screen itself becomes a volumetric object in space, which is „folded“ or cut into separate planes, shifted in space. The media of video and photography are best suited to reveal the reality-based, documentary content of Naujokaite's work – depictions of people and of social or urban spaces.
