Director Statement

"Face to Face" is a student film set in a dystopian society where from birth, humans are so attached to their cellphones that they never take their attention away from them, even for a second. I wanted this film to follow a widely used trope of exaggerating the analysis of society's relationship with phones. While the connection that cellphones can provide for two people can be beautiful, it is important that we all take a moment to set our phones aside and live in the moment.
