Director Biography - Angus Swantee, Walter Forsyth

Angus Swantee has written, directed and/or produced horror shorts that have screened at over 150 festivals worldwide - including Sitges, Fantastic Fest and Telluride Horror Show to name a few. The films have won a number of awards, including Best Horror Comedy at the Canadian Comedy Awards.

Walter Forsyth has written and directed several award winning short films and documentaries including Old St. Nick (TIFF Best of Shorts), LSD 25 (VIFF, Jury Prize Brandon FF, Grand Prize Cabbagetown FF) and The June Bug Symphony (Hot Docs, Canadian Film Fest Best Doc). He co-directed Grave Sight which has won five awards and played 30 festivals. Walter won TIFF's Pitch This!, has received a Sundance Doc Fund participated in TIFF's Talent Lab and was a TIFF RBC Emerging Filmmaker Finalist. He co-directed the documentaries Cubers and Thirty Takes for CBC and directed two episodes of CBC’s Land and Sea and five episodes of the IPF funded digital series, Everyone's Famous. He produced the award winning dramatic feature, The Disappeared and the shorts, There’s a Flower in My Pedal (TIFF Honourable Mention), How to Be Alone (9 million views on YouTube) and Ingrid and the Black Hole (2016 Cannes FF Not Short on Talent).
