Director Biography - Manshur Zikri

Manshur Zikri is a member of Forum Lenteng and currently serves as the editor of the online media platform Jurnal Footage. Formerly a curator at Cemeti – Institute for Art and Society (2020-2022), he also initiated the performance art group PROYEK EDISI. He creates critical content on TikTok through the account @ngomendotcom and writes art criticism for the website www.performanceart.id. Alongside nine other artists from various cities, Zikri is now developing the Council of Ten, an experimental platform that produces weekly film compilations. Director Statement

This film is my fifth experiment within the framework of the Council of Ten project. The project itself aims to promote an artistic and aesthetic campaign on the routinization of cinema as a significant part of everyday life, including the production of small-scale films that create an impact through their visual language.
