Fabrice Chiambretto was trained in the art and technique of at the London International Film School from 1991 to 1994. The practice of cinema touched all his senses and triggered in him an existential upheaval, leading him to follow his personal scenario of life. Before completing his graduation year, he goes to Italy to indulge to terracota work. He meets the sculptor Roger Lebigre in Pietrasanta and joins his team to build 7 large format pieces for Armand Gatti's show, Adam Quoi? played in Marseille in 1994. Fabrice made 7 pieces of clay between 1992 and 2006. He is recalled to the magic lantern when working with a group of persons with mental disabilities in 2001. It is a treasure he shares since, with young people and other voiceless minorities, to help them transforming image and stories into living matters. Searching for the collective imaginary to express itself, he founds in 2005 L'Atelier Fiction at Les Jardins de Meyzieu ODYNEO with people with cerebral palsy. Supported by the Fondation de France and l'Adami, their filmmaking venture are as much dreams as shoutings. Since 2010, Fabrice is part of the national artistic education device PASSEURS D'IMAGES. He creates Anforea productions in 2011 for which he directs a documentary BLACK CLAY the revolution of Barbara Johns about a young activist in the struggle for civil rights and SALAAM TAXI, a shifted and satirical short film. Works in progress: the writing of a feature film and the making of a poetic documentary written by Benjamin Guérin and Eve Combres.
