The Fort Worth Bizarre Film Festival is a festival of short films, 30 minutes or less, which was founded by Travis W. Wood and Bradley J. Pecherek at the end of 2012. It is named "Bizarre" because the board looks for the unique storytelling associated with short films. Fortunately, most short films already have a very unique approach since they do not feel the need to follow a standard full length feature formula. FWBFF accepts and celebrates all genres from all sources (companies, independent filmmakers, universities, etc). A professional jury currently working in the film industry is selected to preview the films, and a wide range of jury awards are presented to the winners at the end of the festival. The festival purposely runs one night only (about 4 hours) to give the filmmakers the experience of having their films viewed by a sold out audience. FWBFF is IMDB recognized.
