Mag ben Atig is a multimedia artist, film director, activist,
and co-founder of the Artist Intelligence collective.
As Arab-German with northern-African roots, his work
utilizes the framework of post-colonial critique in order to
deal with questions of representation, hierarchies and
dominant narratives facing migrant and PoC communities
nowadays.
His Art practice centers racial justice, engendering
racial liberation, examines AI & algorithmic biases and how
tech and discrimination intertwine.
Ben Atig's art is situated between film, AR/VR interfaces and
large scale Installations.
He is currently based in Zürich and Tunis and is a Vistiting Professor on AI and Ethics at the MCA, Hamburg.
