Jessica Mei Gershen wrote her first novel
when she was 7 years old. It was 28 pages long..
12 years ago, Jessica and her late father were walking along
the edge of a Vermont pond. He told her about how
Wood frogs burrow beneath the lakes before winter,
freeze, and then thaw come spring. The idea
for FROGS: The Movie was born.
When her father passed suddenly in a scuba diving accident, Jessica knew this project must be written. Shortly after, she began researching frog species across the globe.
Jessica Mei Gershen is a screenwriter, a producer, a script supervisor, and a director. In early adulthood, she put her career on hold and worked odd jobs, barely making ends meet, in order to raise her now 21 yo daughter on her own. Now, it's her time to shine. Jessica has climbed very far in a short time. She will not stop until her films are on the big screen.
