The film focuses on heterosexual, masculine-presenting males and delves deeply into the issues of toxic masculinity and homophobia—issues that are inherently queer, even in the absence of openly queer characters on screen. It underscores how these toxic behaviors perpetuate a culture of exclusion and violence that impacts everyone, including those within the queer community. By showcasing these dynamics, the film highlights the pervasive nature of these issues and their broader societal implications, aiming to spark meaningful conversations and inspire change.
