His works have been incorporated in the National Collection of Contemporary Art of Catalonian government.
After establishing himself as a painter in the late eighties, Albert Bayona moves towards digital art and new technologies. In his broad interdisciplinarity, he explores his interest in landscape, territory and its transformation. From there, he creates contradictions and opposing concepts, sometimes with a transgressive intention to create discomfort in the viewer, who is used to assuming everyday life uncritically. His work is linked to music and film and reflects on the mechanisms of deception and perception in cinema. His arts works involve many different disciplines like paintings, drawing, photography, video, digital technology and music.
