FRAGILE
"Fragile" is a digitized process of reflection on the vulnerability and defenselessness of human nature. We speak of the fragility of human efforts, human relationships, and the fragility of the human being itself. We explore the boundary between the humane and the heartless, love and aggression.
The mechanical, routine breaking of plates symbolizes the repetitive acts of destruction in society that occur without reflecting on past experiences. We speak of the thoughtlessness of actions that lead to irreversible changes and losses. We grieve.

"Fragile" is a collaboration of three artists: Olga Kovaleva, Anna Ponomarenko, and Maria Berezhnaya.
Bringing together their collective experience in performative, documentary, and video art projects, they embark on a new experiment, capturing the sensations of the present moment.
The artists unite two distinct approaches: on the one hand, working with images in their metaphorical, multi-layered nature, and on the other, engaging with the documentary immediacy of perceived reality. This involves deeply exploring human interaction and living materials: improvisation, spontaneity, and elusive emotions.
