A: Yes! Animation is welcome, and animatics are definitely narrative works.

A: No, video essays are not eligible for the narrative competition. However, If you are proud of your video essay, Email it directly to Professor Schwindt, as it may be selected to be screened at the UAC Student Showcase.

A: Yes. If you are a U Asia Campus student who made the project while attending our university, you can submit to the festival.

A: Yes, works screened at other festivals and competitions are still eligible for F&MAD.

Q: My film is a little longer than 15 minutes. What should I do?
A: To submit your film for Competition, the file will have to be edited down to fit the time limit. Students in 2021 did this, and it made their films better.
