Synopsis
In the tense and dynamic world we live in, at some point each of us is overwhelmed by the urge to realize our desires, to find harmony, peace or safety. So he gets involved in the struggle to find a better place, a better way of life, to completely reinvent himself. Often, when such a moment comes, we think we are ready for it, and it seems to us that a strong desire and idea of change (the golden key in the character’s hand) will lead us to success. A person undertakes a search for a "door", passing through which, he will be able to realize his ideas, desires, dreams, he will "escape" from problems, grayness and everyday life. It turns out that finding the right one, from many exits and options, It's not that easy.
At the beginning, the city and the corridors in which the action takes place are deserted, just as a man stands up and finds himself alone, starting his personal search through the "corridors" of his essence, of his soul, of his ideas about the world and about himself. The doors - a metaphor for the different possibilities and choices we have in our lives are many and most of them do not lead us directly to where we want to go. The frustration that grows after each failed attempt, after another,, locked door" , replaces the initial enthusiasm. Then the "ghosts of the industrial city" begin to appear - a metaphor for the details of existence and the tense life in the noisy, dirty city.
Translucent, black and white street cats, cars, trains, a fire engine, an ambulance, faceless passers-by, homeless people and even a traffic policeman. The more the character panics, the more "city ghosts" appear - the highlights of the monotonous everyday life from which he so desperately wants to escape. The correct door, as the story turns out, is turned "upside down" and attached for the ceiling. The ceiling, which at some point in history turns out to be a floor, prompts us to think about the different positions of our attitudes and our points of view, about how variable they can be and how sometimes, the right position is precisely the ability to look at things from a non-standard, untipical position in order to be able to reach the,, the new". All this aims to provoke through the idea, how important it is to succeed, at key moments, to review everything we know, to rethink the known, in order to be able to "overturn" our attitudes and to completely change our perspective.
To be able to discover, we have to change the perspective entirely. It is a difficult task to break your imagination and believe that you can turn the whole corridor (world), upside down, with one hand, and then step on the "new bottom", which was actually a ceiling. Against the background of the budding on the ceiling (their floor, their below) "city ghosts", to put the "key" in that exact, only lock that will unlock the door that will take you to a new corner of consciousness, from where you would see the beauty you long for, where you hope to find your personal paradise. And when we do succeed and find ourselves in it, it turns out that even this is not the end, but just another chance. Because there - in the new colorful, beautiful place, a road awaits us again.
