The Tunisian Federation of Amateur Filmmakers – FTCA, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and the National Center of Cinema and Image and with the participation of the Municipality of Kelibia, organize the 34th International Amateur Film Festival of Kelibia (TUNISIA) from 28 July to 03 August, 2019.
The opening ceremony will take place at Open Air Theatre of the House of Culture of Kelibia on 03 August at 21:30.
Dear Filmmakers,
We have the honor to inform you that the 34rd session of the International Amateur Film Festival will be held from July 28 to August 03,2019 in Kelibia. It is a favorite destination among tourists during the summer period. This citywill host about 1,500 fans of cinema, 300 amateur filmmakers and students from specialized institutes of cinema, in order toproject their latest creations (short film) and to share their experiences with foreign counterparts and professionals in this field.
For anyone interested in attendingthe Festival and for vacationersin thecity, the committee will include the following segments:
* Film Screening:
• National and international competitions (amateur and independent students from specialized institutes of cinema) .
• Special sessions dedicated to a particular genre of cinema or relatedtoa specific country.
• Kids’ films (short and feature length film) .
* Workshops for participants led by nativeTunisian and foreign experts.
* Workshops for Kelibia’skids (masks, puppets, comic strips).
* Symposium hosted by experts and academics.
* Discussions of films inthe competition.
* National Competition ofscenarios and photos.

The FIFAK includes the following events:
1. The International Competition: The competition is open to amateur, independent, and student films, regardless of their origins and genres.
2. The National Competition:
• This competition is also open to amateur, independent, and film schools.
• Competition for film scriptsand photos.
3. AdditionalInformation Section: It is open to films with a thematic focus and / or with an artistic work, which do not correspond to competition regulations.
4. Tribute to militant cinema.
5. Special sessions dedicated to a particular type of cinema or to a specific country.
6. Symposia and meetings.
7. Discussions aboutthe films in competition.
8. Workshops.
