If your Film has been Screened Privately, or at other Film Festivals, or Released Theatrically outside of Canada, that is fine, as long as it is not Available on the Internet, has been Broadcast on Canadian Television, or as long as it is not Available on Bluray, DVD, Pay Per View, etc... In other words, if your Film is AVAILABLE to Audiences in Canada it is NOT Eligible to be Screened at the FESTIVAL OF FEAR.

So, if your Film plays another Film Festival in Edmonton, or if it has already been Screened as a Public Screening, (and not just as a Private Screening for the Cast & Crew), your Film will be Disqualified. Even if it has already been accepted as an Official Selection, to the FESTIVAL OF FEAR, and we find out your Film is going to have a Public Screening in Edmonton, before our Film Festival, WE WILL PULL YOUR FILM FROM THE FESTIVAL OF FEAR We have been lenient, and flexible about this in the past, but those days are over.

The FESTIVAL OF FEAR will also request that you send a DCP, or Bluray of your Feature Length Film, and in the case of Short Films, a link to a High Quality Download of your Film, so that we can put your Short Film on a Bluray with other Short Films, that will play in the same Block of Films.
