Huazhong Wang is a director, screenwriter, and cinematographer whose creative work spans narrative films, music videos, and commercials.
Born in a small town in northern China, he has been fascinated with reading novels and watching television since childhood. During his university years, he was exposed to a wide range of films, and from that point on, cinema became his passion. His sole ambition became making movies.
While still an undergraduate, he worked as a production assistant on various television programs and commercials. After graduating, he participated in the production of numerous artistic short and feature films in roles such as executive producer and assistant director.
Wang Huazhong learned from people around him in the industry, including some who have won awards at film festivals in China and other countries. This invaluable experience deepened his understanding of cinema and intertwined his life with film.
The theme of this film is a tragic form of heroism. Through this story, I want to convey a message about how, as mortals, we should face an absurd world.
