“FEED YOUR STORY - Film & Script Competition” is a competition open to Italian and international short films, subjects and screenplays of feature films, TV series concept and screenplays of short films (in English or in Italian).
The festival is organized by the MotorAzione! Cultural Association and is aimed at projects that welcome new trends in terms of cinema and writing, in an attempt to support modern and original projects by emerging auteurs.

WHEN & WHERE

The screenings of the finalist shorts and the award ceremony for each of the categories will take place in November 2023, in Rome, at the headquarters of the Carpet cultural association, a partner of the festival.
Following the announcement of the finalists by category, the exact date and venue of the award ceremony will be communicated to the selected and winning directors and authors.

CATEGORIES

SHORT FILM COMPETITION
(150 € for the best short film🏆)
Competition open to Italian and international short films with a maximum length of 35 minutes, of any genre and theme (fiction, documentary, animation...).
The jury will select 10 finalists and only one winner will be elected who will receive the cash prize.
The last deadline for submission of projects is 31/05.
Entry fee per single project: 15 €

SHORT SCRIPT COMPETITION
(Feedback for all projects + 100€ 🏆 to the best short film script)
Competition open to Italian and international short film scripts under 20 pages of any genre (fiction, documentary, animation...).
The jury will select 5 finalists and only one winner will be elected who will receive the cash prize.
The last deadline for submission of short film scripts is 31/05.
Entry fee per single project: 15 €

FEATURE FILM CONCEPT COMPETITION (Film Subject)
(Feedback for all projects + 150€ 🏆 to the best feature film concept)
Competition open to Italian and international feature film subjects under 10 pages of any genre (fiction, documentary and animation).
The jury will select 5 finalists and only one winner will be elected who will receive the cash prize.
The last deadline for submission of feature film subjects is 31/05.
Entry fee per single project: €15

FEATURE FILM SCRIPT COMPETITION
(Feedback form for all projects + 150€ 🏆 to the best feature film script)
Feature film script in Italian or English between 80 and 120 pages in any genre (fiction, documentary, animation...).
The jury will select 5 finalists and only one winner will be elected who will receive the cash prize.
The last deadline for submission of feature screenplays is 31/05.
Entry fee per single project: €15

TV SERIES CONCEPT COMPETITION
(Feedback form for all projects + 150€ 🏆 to the best TV Series concept)
Competition open to TV Series Concepts in Italian or English under 10 pages of any genre (fiction, documentary, animation...).
The jury will select 5 finalists and only one winner will be elected who will receive the cash prize.
The last deadline for submission of TV Series concepts is 31/05.
Entry fee per single project: 15 €

“FEED YOUR STORY - Film & Script Competition” è un concorso aperto a cortometraggi italiani e internazionali, soggetti e sceneggiature di lungometraggi, concept per serie TV e sceneggiature di cortometraggi (in inglese o in italiano).
ll festival è organizzato dall’Associazione giovanile MotoreAzione! ed è rivolto a progetti che accolgano le nuove tendenze in termini cinematografici e di scrittura, nel tentativo di supportare progetti moderni e originali di autori emergenti.

QUANDO & DOVE

Le proiezioni dei corti finalisti e la cerimonia di premiazione per ognuna delle categorie si svolgerà nel Novembre del 2023, a Roma, nella sede dell’Associazione culturale Carpet, partner del festival.
Ai registi e agli autori selezionati e vincitori verrà comunicata, a seguito della proclamazione dei finalisti per categoria, la data esatta e la sede della premiazione.

CATEGORIE

SHORT FILM COMPETITION
(150 € per il miglior cortometraggio🏆)
Competizione aperta a cortometraggi italiani e internazionali con durata massima di 35 minuti, di qualsiasi genere e tema (fiction, documentario, animazione...).
La giuria selezionerà 10 finalisti e sarà eletto un solo vincitore a cui spetterà il premio in denaro.
L’ultima deadline per l’invio dei progetti è fissata al 31/05.
Quota di iscrizione per singolo progetto: 15 €

SHORT SCRIPT COMPETITION
(Scheda di valutazione per tutti i progetti + 100€ 🏆 al miglior script di cortometraggio)
Competizione aperta a sceneggiature di cortometraggi italiani e internazionali sotto le 20 pagine di qualsiasi genere (fiction, documentario, animazione...).
La giuria selezionerà 5 finalisti e sarà eletto un solo vincitore a cui spetterà il premio in denaro.
L’ultima deadline per l’invio delle sceneggiature di cortometraggio è fissata al 31/05.
Quota di iscrizione per singolo progetto: 15 €

FEATURE FILM CONCEPT COMPETITION (Soggetto cinematografico)
(Scheda di valutazione per tutti i progetti + 150€ 🏆 al miglior concept di lungometraggio)
Competizione aperta a soggetti di lungometraggi italiani e internazionali sotto le 10 pagine di qualsiasi genere (fiction, documentario e animazione).
La giuria selezionerà 5 finalisti e sarà eletto un solo vincitore a cui spetterà il premio in denaro.
L’ultima deadline per l’invio dei soggetti di lungometraggio è fissata al 31/05.
Quota di iscrizione per singolo progetto: 15 €

FEATURE FILM SCRIPT COMPETITION
(Scheda di valutazione per tutti i progetti + 150€ 🏆 al miglior script di lungometraggio)
Sceneggiatura di lungometraggio in italiano o in inglese tra le 80 e le 120 pagine di qualsiasi genere (fiction, documentario, animazione...).
La giuria selezionerà 5 finalisti e sarà eletto un solo vincitore a cui spetterà il premio in denaro.
L’ultima deadline per l’invio delle sceneggiature di lungometraggio è fissata al 31/05.
Quota di iscrizione per singolo progetto: 15 €

TV SERIES CONCEPT COMPETITION
(Scheda di valutazione per tutti i progetti + 150€ 🏆 al miglior concept di Serie TV)
Competizione aperta a Concept di serie TV in italiano o in inglese sotto le 10 pagine di qualsiasi genere (fiction, documentario, animazione...).
La giuria selezionerà 5 finalisti e sarà eletto un solo vincitore a cui spetterà il premio in denaro.
L’ultima deadline per l’invio dei concept di Serie TV è fissata al 31/05.
Quota di iscrizione per singolo progetto: 15 €

REGISTRATION

By 31/05/2023, you can register through the FilmFreeway platform or by sending an email to motoreazioneassociazione@gmail.com, with the following documents:

1) Receipt of transfer (15 €) with Paypal accreditation to the following account: motoreazioneassociazione@gmail.com - Reason: FILM & SCRIPT COMPETITION 2023, Name and surname of the Author or Author, title of the work(s).
In case of several authors or authors of the same subject, the entry is made by one person only, indicating in the entry form the name of the other authors.
2) The competition call + entry form signed for acceptance. In case of more than one author a form should be filled in for each and/or each of them.

The fee of 15€ for the application of one's project corresponds to the membership fee for the Cultural Association MotoreAzione! for the year 2023.

RULES & TERMS

SHORT FILM COMPETITION
- All genres with a maximum running time of 20 minutes are accepted;
- Films must include English subtitles (not if the language spoken is English or Italian);
- The film must have been produced after January 1, 2019;
- The same author may participate with more than one project, without limitation;

SHORT SCRIPT COMPETITION
- Scripts can be in Italian or English;
- Drafted with the following technical characteristics: Font: Courier (or Courier New); Font Size: 12; Line Spacing: 1; Alignment: Left Aligned; Adaptation: Full Page;
- Scripts must be written in American form: with full-page descriptions, dialogue in the middle, scenes and numbered pages;
- The file must be in pdf and must be accompanied by a synopsis of no more than 10 lines;
- The same writer may participate with more than one project, without limitation.

FEATURE FILM CONCEPT COMPETITION
- Concepts (subjects) can be in English or Italian;
- Drafted with the following technical characteristics: Font size: 12; Line spacing: 1.5;
- The file must be in pdf and must be accompanied by a synopsis of no more than 10 lines;
- The same author may participate with more than one project, without limitation.

By submitting your film/script/treatment, you agree that:

1) “FEED YOUR STORY - Film & Script Competition” can use parts of your short film for promotional purposes.
2) Entry fees are non-refundable.
3) You cannot withdraw your submission after the official selection has been announced
4) Producers and/or author, if the short is selected for the final stage of the festival, must declare to be solely responsible for all rights regarding his work and must declare that the movie does not contain any third-party rights
5) The choices of the jury are unquestionable.

Entro il 31/05/2023, è possibile iscriversi attraverso la piattaforma FilmFreeway o inviando una mail a motoreazioneassociazione@gmail.com, con i seguenti documenti:

1) Ricevuta del bonifico (15 €) con accredito Paypal sul seguente conto: motoreazioneassociazione@gmail.com - Causale: FILM & SCRIPT COMPETITION 2023, Nome e cognome dell’Autore o dell’Autrice, titolo dell’opera (o delle opere).
In caso di più autori o autrici dello stesso soggetto l’iscrizione viene effettuata da una sola persona, indicando nel modulo di iscrizione il nome degli altri autori.
2) Il regolamento + scheda d’iscrizione firmati per accettazione. In caso di più autori va compilato un modulo per ognuno e/o ognuna di loro.

La quota di 15€ per la candidatura del proprio progetto corrisponde alla quota associativa per l’iscrizione all’Associazione culturale MotoreAzione! per l’anno 2023.

2) Le quote di iscrizione non sono rimborsabili.
3) Non è possibile ritirare l'iscrizione dopo l'annuncio della selezione ufficiale.
4) Il produttore e/o l'autore, nel caso in cui il cortometraggio venga selezionato per la fase finale del festival, deve dichiarare di essere l'unico responsabile di tutti i diritti relativi alla sua opera e deve dichiarare che il film non contiene diritti di terzi.
5) Le scelte della giuria sono insindacabili.
