Director Biography - Paul W Nethercott

International filmmaker Paul W. Nethercott has credits on successful film projects in Asia, Europe, and the USA. Nethercott is the CEO of Studio Nethercott; An On-Ramp Fellow (Indiana Arts Commission); Independent Media Artist (Canada Council for the Arts); Member, Documentary Association of Europe (DAE); Tutor, Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre’s Summer Media Studio (SMS). He invests in the next generation by producing Learn Filmmaking in Europe (an annual trip to Europe for emerging North American filmmakers to participate in the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre’s highly regarded Summer Media Studio and through StoryLaunch an initiative that empowers emerging filmmakers through practical workshops.

Nethercott has producing and/or directing credits on films that have won accolades from Venice International Film Festival (Italy); Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival; Heartland International Film Festival; Brussels Short Film Festival; Sedona International Film Festival; and Coronado Island Film Festival, among many other festivals.
