Ezra Atkins has been studying film at The Ghetto Film school since June 2021. From a very young age he has been interested in film making and story telling. When Ezra is not making films he practices Brazilian juijitsu under Gregor Gracie and plays the guitar.
Ezra is a senior at Saint Ann’s School in Brooklyn, NY where he studies Ancient Greek, film, Russian Literature, Ancient Greek History and philosophy. He lives in Brooklyn, NY.
Ezra’s work has been shown at The Top Shot International Film Festival in Warsaw Poland, Lift Off Filmmakers Session in Hollywood, California as well The Indie Short Festival in Los Angeles, California. Most recently his film, Tears of a Forgotten Memory was officially selected for the latest edition of The Japan International Film Festival.
Two of Ezra’s experimental films were chosen as official selection for the 2023 All American High School Film festival. His films Tears of a Forgotten Memory and Average Joe will screen at the AMC Theaters in Times Square during their festival weekend from October 20-22
