Kayla Wool starts her first semester at law school in hopes to become a lawyer she’s been waiting for this moment since she was 9yrs old when her father was killed by a police officer who framed a innocent black man. Kayla's family knew the evidence never quite added up about her fathers death, and she made it her mission to one day get to the bottom of the murder.

One day Kayla meets a young charming white man at her school named Chris, at first she’s unimpressed, but he slowly begins to charm her and a relationship starts to blossom until they soon discover that they have completely Different views. With the holidays around the corner Kayla Decided to go on a trip to Their hometown to meet Chris’s family for the first time After a strange trail of events Chris’s Father Tom starts to seem oddly familiar.

Throughout their stay Chris’s parents seems to become even stranger after Kayla shares her father has passed. She overhears a shocking conversation between Chris’s parents that imply that She knows something she shouldn’t. Kayla decides to go on a late night tore of Chris’s home and things become even more airy when she discovers Chris’s father Tom was once a police with a different name.

In a deeper discovery Kayla comes to a realization that Tom murdered her father. Kayla secretly plays along while collecting evidence to get justice for her father all while being Tormented.
