Experiencing Interruptions?

Experiments in Shakespeare: Conspirators Under the Light

Utilising a handful of Shakespeare's most memorable conspirators and juxtaposing classic soliloquies and sonnets in a modern day setting, "Experiments in Shakespeare" is a short experimental film that explores grimy themes of male aggression and obsession with revenge told under the cover of darkness. However, what happens when the darkness is lifted and those who wish to hurt others end up getting hurt the most.?

Director Biography - Guy Henderson

Guy Henderson is an first time director, part time theatre creator and full time film nerd. Guy's most recent artistic achievements have been on the stage, having recently finished performing the role of Touchstone in the UATG's November 2018 outdoor production of 'As You Like It' and is set to direct a student production of an adaptation of Ingmar Bergman's 1961 classic, 'Through A Glass Darkly'. However, Guy is branching out into the world of film production, combining their love of theatre and Shakespeare and their admiration for the work of such influential directors as John Ford and Terrence Malick and crafting unique experimental short films that aim to show classic texts in new and bold ways.
