Experiments: Tree/Colonnade/Loading Dock/Attic

Each of the four site-specific dances is seen in entirety through three camera views: Firstly, as the full body within the landscape; Secondly, as the body fractured in relation to the lines of the attic, the shadow of the trees, the space of the colonnade and the expanse of the loading dock; and Thirdly, as the body in detail and close-up against each respective space. The videography responds to each site and its respective choreography; the feeling of space and body. Each site immediately suggested a choreographic response, whether it was the actual space of the tunnel effect of the colonnade or an emotional response, for instance a feeling for the lone trees in the courtyard. The choreographic and videographic decisions are influenced by the actual space and what might be contained within.
