One day, 10-year-old Jiwoo becomes the target of school bullying due to the fact that she doesn't have a father. She asks her teacher for help, but the adults around her fail to give her proper support. Unable to cope with it, Jiwoo decides to steal her aunt Sunah's cigarettes and try smoking. But the plan goes awry when Sunah learns about Jiwoo's trouble at school and finds her with a lit cigarette in her hand. The incident leaves both with a deeper understanding of each other, and ultimately how difficult it is to know what's really going on in someone else's world - even those who are closest to us.
