Evil at Number 34

The story begins with Rufus taking out the trash when he sees his dear sweet elderly neighbor Agatha walking her wheelie bin for a walk. Terrified at the site of the old woman, Rufus runs inside, convinced octogenarian neighbour is out for blood.

Todd, Rufus's housemate, doesn't for one second believe the inane ramblings of his paranoid housemate. Annoyed, and questioning why he hasn't put a pillow over his friends head yet, Todd sits Rufus down to calm him.

However, strange banging upstairs only enthralls Rufus more and out of frustration Todd leads them upstairs to find the true culprit - however there is a power cut - Todd sends Rufus to find the fuse box and restore the lights whilst he attends the "murderer" poncing around upstairs.

Rufus investigates the kitchen and finds the back door mysteriously open, he locks it and attends the fuse box to no avail. Meanwhile, Todd discovers the source of the banging is merely an open window and promptly locks it. Suddenly, a scream from downstairs! Todd races to the aid of his comrade, finding him at the mercy of a strange figure in the kitchen! Todd tackles the unknown assailant to the ground - only for them to both realise it is their elderly, and very fragile, neighbor.

Walking her home, Agatha explains her power went out also and she merely came over to check they were alright. Embarrased they offer her tea and see her into her house. They walk home and Rufus relaxes as Todd goes into the kitchen. Rufus, shouting for a cold drink realises something is amiss, he wanders into the kitchen only to find Agatha... holding an axe... and his friend's head.

Rufus promptly screams as he is taken apart like a turkey in December.
