Kent, England born George Mills and Redding, California bred Hannah Seligman are a north London based writer-director duo. Living and working together during lockdown, they bonded over the similarities of their own suburban upbringings, love of dark comedy, fascination with world building, and complimentary aesthetic interests. George and Hannah are interested in creating a stylized cinematic universe without reference to exact time or place- a surreal suburbia of their own.
Taking inspiration from the American and English suburbs we grew up in, we wanted to create a fictional, stylized world based around just that. EVERYBODY NEEDS SOME(dead)BODY was the accumulation of our joint love of dark comedy, the surrealness in everyday life, and the desire to create a world that couldn’t be time-stamped.
