Director Biography - Myat Noe

M. Noe likes to make films that challenges social conventions and censorship of Myanmar (Burma). His previous credit includes A Thousand Years of Love selected at various LGBT film fests in UK, US, China, India, Slovenia, Mexico, and Serbia.

Director Statement

Despite the political transition, the film censorship of Myanmar (Burma) continues to oppress and attempts to ban the serious, sympathetic portraits of LGBT relationship and sexuality. I am making these short films in directed defiance to such arbitrary unfairness.
