Aitor Bárez is a Spanish filmmaker and climber. He has been on many expeditions to Himalaya, Karakorum, Canada, Peruvian Andes... Always filming. Many times on the highest peaks: Everest (twice), Annapurna (twice), Manaslu, K2. He has produced many documentaries about mountain and extreme sport climbing with his production company Avista Multimedia. As a climber, he has sent some of the hardest friction slabs in granit in La Pedriza (8a on sight, 8b+ redpointed and 7c+ trad) and hard multi pitch routes (Octogenese 8a+,300m in Corsica). He is an experienced mountain skier too. His latest film, "Everest: A Superhuman Challenge" has been his most challenging work, 2017 Best Mountaineering Film award in Ladek.
