Ever Still Here
In the world of our 3 dolls, we repair our torn threads, lovingly offering one's filaments for the repairing of the other. But when Grannie falls so ill to the point of disintegrating, what will her daughter do to re-establish contact with her, and will she succeed?
Through the threads of a crocheted and knitted world, and animated with stop-motion, ''Ever Still Here'' (Nog Steeds Hier) tells the story of maternal and filial love, and of the interconnection between spirits, even with the material impossibility. In the midst of grief, it seeks to offer hope.

I'm a Lebanese filmmaker, holder of a Masters degree in Animation Film (with great distinction) from KASK (Ghent, Belgium, 2024). I also have a bachelor degree in Art et Science de l'Animation at BASA, Université Laval, with a specific concentration on 3D Character Animation (Québec, Canada, 2022).
My upbringing in Lebanon has instilled in me a deep respect for the connections woven between generations. I have carried this passion with me and am dedicated to producing animated films that speak to the heart.
I am interested in human stories. I would like to give new life
to the narratives and whispers of childhood and bring back to
life the characters that once populated it. My artistic goal in
animation is to reach the cinematic perfection of a Myazaki,
while pursuing the contemplative exploration of the inner
worlds like in Tarkovski and Bergman.
