Euphoric

“Euphoric” is the story of a victim claimed by inhumane rituals in the name of tradition - told in the form of poetry prose. If all the evil and sin in the world is carefully buried under well-constructed social practices, where does one draw the line?

The feature poetically describes the horrors and life-long impacts that Female Genital Mutilation can have on women. Why ‘Euphoric’? Well, ask those that experienced ‘tradition’ and live to speak about it, and they would tell you that life not having lived through it - is a Euphoria they can only dream of.

Through powerful narration, the film begs to ask - does it only take so far as death, for a voice to be heard?
