Étienne de Massy graduated from Concordia University in Film Production (Montreal) and also studied at the Tisch School of the Arts (New York). A practitioner of digital photoanimation, he is the author of the Somnia cycle. Participation in film festivals include among others : Mostra internationale di video e cinema oltre (Milano), Vidéoformes (Clermont-Ferrand), Internationales Kurz Film Festival (Hamburg), Interfilm (Berlin), VIFF (Vancouver), BFF (Brooklyn), and the Festival du Nouveau cinéma (Montreal). His work has also been shown at the Arsenal Art Contemporain gallery in Montreal and at the Skol Gallery. In 2009 he won 1st prize at the VAD (Digital Video Arts) in Spain for Somnia_3.

Étienne de Massy est diplômé de l'Université Concordia. Il a également étudié à la Tisch School of the Arts de New York. Spécialiste de l'animation photonumérique, ses travaux ont été présentés dans de nombreux festivals dont la Mostra internationale di video e cinema oltre (Milan), Vidéoformes (Clermont-Ferrand), Internationales Kurz Film Festival (Hambourg), Interfilm (Berlin), VIFF (Vancouver), BFF (Brooklyn) et le Festival du Nouveau cinéma (Montréal).
En 2009 il remporte le 1er prix du VAD (Digital Video Arts) en Espagne pour Somnia_3. Ses travaux ont été également présentés à la galerie Arsenal art contemporain et à la galerie Skol (Montréal).
