Film Score (Semi-Finalist)
Natalee Borisenko is a singer, composer, multi-instrumentalist, sound producer from Kiev, Ukraine.
She studied at the music school in piano and vocals, where she began writing her first small works for piano and poetry separately from classes. From 13 she began to write the first songs, fixing notes in a notebook.
Since the family of the musician was poor and she did not have the opportunity to take part in contests or record her material, she decided to learn the whole production process in 14 to be implemented independently in the future.
At 17 Natalee goes to college, studying vocals, piano, and guitar. Working in parallel as a vocal teacher in her native music school, she gathers a rock band to gain experience with live musicians and the ability to record live instruments into her arrangements that she did not have for full-fledged work.
Her progressive rock project records the first demo in a medium studio a year later. But seeing that in the process of recording the entire concept of the sound of the collective is missed, she finally makes the decision to engage in production on her own.
Playing in a variety of projects of various genres, working as a session musician and vocalist and also a vocal, piano and music theory teacher, she has enough money to learn sound engineering at the National Academy of Managerial Staff of Culture and Arts. This was necessary in order to be able to subsequently work as a sound producer and arranger in various places.
Having received a master's degree, she has the time and opportunity to remember how it all began - how she loved from childhood music for movies, and also listened to electronic music of various genres. She begins to write musical material for production - cinema, advertising and etc.
The artist writes music in a wide range of genres - EDM, ambient, drum and bass, industrial, glitch, rock, soundtracks, acoustics, pop, folk.
