Here's a bit about us.....But what we really want to know is What's Your Story?

Et Cultura: A Festival of Creative Culture

Is a multi- day, culturally-immersive event will spotlight Florida-based talent along side national/international artists while cultivating the City of St. Petersburg’s reputation as a premiere arts destination in America.

Our goal is to foster conversations with audiences, our community and contributing artists while supporting emerging artists and providing an environment for learning through film, music, art and interactive sessions.

This signature event will encourage new avenues for innovative thinking, new collaborations and unique experiences--to leave an indelible mark in the minds of all who come to see what Et Cultura and St. Petersburg are all about.

We are looking for stories in all genres that span all walks of life from all ends of the earth.

In the spirit of celebrating "All things Local" , we will feature a Sunshine State Film Block to highlight films produced in, created in, or featuring Florida.

While these are just a few themes we are exploring in 2017, we are welcoming all stories to be a part of the three day Et Cultura Film Festival.

Et Cultura is committed to the art of the short film through its annual short film competition which celebrates the diversity of genres explored and craftsmanship involved in short filmmaking. Last year 25 short films received awards. Feature films will only be given special prizes, including the Emerging Florida Filmmaker Award which may be given to a short film or a feature film.

An incredible beginning for what could be Florida's SXSW parallel, if there ever was going to be something close. The films were superb, and was probably the most consistent quality in selections I've seen from any fest so far. Was treated with love and respect, and really could not have had a better time! Keep up the great work, y'all!
