Born in New York, raised in The Bronx, and now residing in Brooklyn, Tameeka Colon-Parson has been creating innovative and engaging independent content since 2015. As a graduate of Brooklyn College's Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema, her silent film "Perfect Stranger" was not only selected as a Faculty Pick of 2016 but was also selected as a finalist for the Glamour and Girlgaze #NewView Film Competition in 2017. Since then, she has gone on to work with The Bennett Sisters, Toshi Reagon, and producing music videos for artists such as Elle Winston's "Downtown" and "Go", starring Grammy Award Winning artist, Anna Wise (Kendrick Lamar's To Pimp A ButterFly).
This is a works in progress short film that reflects the realistic and often uncomfortable feelings we get when reconnecting with parts of us from our past with who we are in our present lives.
