Director Biography - Makarand Nalgirkar

Makarand Nalgirkar, a recent graduate of the Motion Picture Institute, is a writer, director, and producer, with a background in technology, entrepreneurship, and business. Having grown up in India on a staple of Bollywood films, Makarand brings a unique perspective to his work that combines old-world sensibilities with a contemporary approach. Makarand's 2021 student short film Comprehension won the best child actor award at the IndieX Film Fest, an International film festival in Los Angeles.
