Theme

Through this film, I want to deal with several themes that are dear to me.

First, this movie is about freedom. The quest for the freedom of Antoine's character,
insatiable traveler, will confront the deprivation of freedom exercised by Eric.

He also speaks of freedom but this time from a political point of view. The film is an allegory of democracy facing the rise of the far right. The color codes are those of the French flag and somehow Antoine returns carefree in France, finds it great but does not even notice that his country is in bad shape and is threatened by radical ideas.
This threat is present in Eric's character, his double language, his attitude, his actions.

This film also has a religious interpretation. Eric is a kind of demon, and Antoine goes from paradise to purgatory where Marc is already. Both are deceived by Eric who charms them and then locks them up.

It is also a description of an artist who has turned into madness. He encloses his victims, without any empathy, seeing them just as models he has and then exposes in his living room in the form of tables.

But if all these themes are present I didn't want to emphasize them in the scenario, they are present but I let the viewer to make his own idea in front of a story a little strange that could be a news item.

I hope you'll like it.
