As a native of Philadelphia, Wayne started out with the Mermaid Mummers Theater Troupe in Philly. This culminating with him being a lifelong performer, in over 40-50 regional theater productions which includes mostly acting, but also singing, dancing, directing, producing, set design, stage managing, playbill design, play write, Board of Directors, Director of Youth Activities and also owned a theater company. Some of the more memorial performances was as the Tin Man in Wizard of OZ, and many Murder Mystery Dinner Theater Shows. He also received Volunteer of the Year and Actor of the Year awards.
