Eric Benninghoff is a multimedia storyteller and international researcher with a political science degree from Yale University. As part of a Fulbright fellowship, Benninghoff explored the transition to adulthood for people with intellectual disabilities, autism, and other neurodevelopmental differences in Norway's welfare state. Based at UiT The Arctic University of Norway in Tromsø, he conducted interview-based research and created short films throughout the Nordic region to better understand and highlight the challenges and potential of this diverse population as they transition from school to the workforce. Benninghoff has a personal connection to his work, having grown up alongside an older brother with autism in the U.S.
